For my Cricket loving friends birthday I thought I would give a sugarpaste covered sponge cake a go.  I have always said that I am not a fan of making novelty sugarpaste covered cakes as they don't tend to taste as good but I eat my words as this was pretty delicious..

I was browsing through Flickr recently and I came across a delicious looking profiteroles cake made by Plush n Lush Cupcakes.  I had to make my own version and when my friend said she was having a dinner party I of course jumped at the chance to make dessert.

Here is my cake...  The feedback from my friends was that it was delicious.  One of my friends said it required a little bit more chocolate... I think they were joking.
